A comfortable fall
That's what it looks like to us, anyway. As the temperatures dip and the leaves change color, the fall season comes to life. And this particular fall is teeming with the stuff. The local and regional arts organizations have put together slates of incredible events, from the hottest rock acts (Death Cab for Cutie, All-American Rejects) coming to town to some must-see plays (Urinetown, American Buffalo). The movie theaters are jam-packed with buzzworthy flicks (All the King's Men, The Departed) and giddy escapist fare (Jackass: Number Two, Casino Royale). It's enough to make you never want to leave the house.
Ah, but then you would miss out on all the outdoor fun. Hiking, biking, or heading to pumpkin patches, hayrides, apple festivals, 50Ks... there's tons to do for adults and kids. Too much, maybe. To help you keep it straight we've included a do-it-yourself Must-Do List. After plundering these pages for the events you simply cannot live without going to, fill out the form on page 30, clip or tear it out, and put it on the fridge. Now every morning when you fix your oatmeal (sticks to the ribs!) you'll be reminded that this Friday is the opening of the Georgia O'Keeffe exhibit, and you simply cannot miss that. We wouldn't let you.
