RMSC Museum & Science Center: Behind the Scenes Tours - This Tour is Lit or Under the Sea

Tours are for adult audiences (18+).
Like many museums, the majority of our collections are not on public display. As the steward of over 1.2 million objects, there are a lot of unique, interesting, and just plain odd objects within our collections vaults— and this is your chance to get a look at some of them!
This Tour is Lit: Explore the history behind unique and beautiful lighting tools and appliances. Marvel at the brilliant colors of Tiffany lamps and the detailed workmanship of lanterns and chandeliers. Under the Sea: Dive into our zoology vault and marvel at the science of marine specimens inspired by The Little Mermaid. Treasure the history and importance of water to our community by exploring the museum’s newest exhibit. Please note these tours are 18+ due to subject matter. Content is for mature audiences. Tours will start promptly at 6pm and depart from the lobby. Each tour is led by staff.
