Genesee Country Village & Museum will celebrate Armed Forces Day . This event showcases the importance of the military in the lives of Western New Yorkers over more than two centuries. Displays will include military uniforms, weaponry and artifacts, presented by the Military History Society of Rochester and others. A child's militia, open to visitors, will form and march in the Village Square. A demonstration of firearms, from flintlocks to World War weapons, will include live firing.
