“Lyre, Lyre” presents a delightful program of Academy Award winning movie themes. Included are timeless favorites such as Moon River, Tammy, Star Wars, My Hear Will Go On (Titanic), Somewhere Over the Rainbow and more. The harp is a rarely heard and often misunderstood instrument. Attendees will become very aware that the harp does not just play “angel” music, and that classical repertoire is not the only music that can be played on it. The harp is so much more! After the musical portion which lasts 50-55 minutes, there will be some time set aside for questions from the audience.
