Rock Art, the carving or painting of symbols and scenes on stone, has existed for millennia. Sometimes drawings left behind by ancient peoples are all that remain to inform us about their lives. What if our storytellers and historians were to leave behind petroglyphs of our civilization? Which scenes might they preserve? Hellborg says, “My work is a continuation of this ancient art form, taking advantage of modern materials and techniques." Opening reception March 11, 4–6 pm with music by Muhammad Seven.
