Tonight's dance features Colleen Liggett calling to the music of Mad Robin: Alaina Reid (fiddle), Dennis Reed Jr (guitar) Mad Robin's energetic interpretations of a wide variety of traditional reels and jigs have delighted contra dancers and concert-goers all over Western New York. A beginner's tutorial will be offered at 7pm. Contra dance is energetic fun. Couples in long lines dance simple figures to rousing live music, with plenty of swings. No need for a partner, bring a water bottle and a pair of clean-soled shoes. If you make a mistake you'll be dancing with new people a minute later!
