SPECIAL EVENT | 'Puppy Love'

by

You guys, I'm about to brighten your weekend with, like, the best four-letter word: DOGS. The Strong Museum on Saturday, February 3, will present "Puppy Love," at which you can meet service dogs from Lollypop Farm's Pet Assisted Therapy program, retired racing dogs from Greyhound Adoption of Greater Rochester, and Biscuit from Alyssa Satin Capucilli's beloved book series. Tail Waggin' Tutors — a program that lets kids practice reading skills with attentive pooches at Rochester's public libraries — will also be present, and visitors can learn about pet first aid from Monroe Veterinary Associates staff, pile into the Puppy Play Zone, and make a handmade valentine for fuzzy friends.

The Strong Museum of Play, 1 Manhattan Square. Saturday, February 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Puppy Love activities are included with museum admission ($15; free to members and kids under age 2). 263-2700; museumofplay.org.
